Advanced Pistol Course - Level II
This course is for shooters who have completed the Basic Firearms Training course and the Advanced Pistol Course, Level I. It is designed to teach students how to handle lethal force encounters as concealed-carry owners by having them practice numerous drills that simulate different scenarios they may find themselves in as they move about in public. This is a fast-paced course in which students gain experience in decision-making and shooting in a high-stress environment.
During this course students will learn:
Priority Fire
Arc of Fire
Responsibility to Family v. Duty To Act
Post-engagement Status Checks
Live Fire Drills
Equipment required for this course:
Pistol
Three magazines (minimum 10 round capacity per magazine)
Eye protection
Hearing protection
Hat (optional)
Outside-the-waistband holster with a strong belt
Magazine pouch to hold two magazines
200 rounds of ammunition
Please pay close attention to the student equipment requirements listed in the course summaries.
An equipment check will be conducted prior to the start of class. If you do not have the listed equipment, you will not be allowed to continue with the training.
